The IKEA Superstore is a 25,000m2 multispan portalised steel structure. Bonacci Group were awarded the project as part of a design and construct tender with a steel fabricator. The project was completed on time and on budget.

As a result of the IKEA project, Bonacci Group were then engaged directly for the second stage of the development, the IKANO Power Centre which consisted of 32,000m2 of retail area, and a 60m long pedestrian bridge. The project was fast-tracked with all the steelwork (3500 t) designed and fully erected in less than 6 months.
