To prevent excessive sway and to be economically efficient, the building comprised a propped steel portal frame.

A $35 million industrial distribution centre consisting of 4,100 square metres of a high bay warehouse, 9,400 square metres of low-rise warehousing and 2,400 square metres of single level office building.
The high bay warehouse building was used for a high-tech automated storage and retrieval racking system. In order to encompass the high racks, the building shell was some 28 metres high and 40 metres wide. A 350mm thick steel fibre reinforced slab was used to support the 14 tonne racking post loads imposed upon it.
