Significant savings were achieved with an economical footing solution. The methodology developed for the steel structures allowed less projections into the interior spaces.
Bonacci Group provided structural and civil engineering services for this project. It was awarded the QMBA Project of the Year for 2001. The scope of works included headquarters buildings; F1-11 paint shop; F1-11 bonded panel hangar, workshop and offices; fire training school; training facilities, vehicle shelters, deseal/reseal facility, civil works and coordination of services.
