Bonacci Group were invited by Multiplex to enter a design competition for the structural services of the project against six other major national structural consultants.
A 60 storey mixed use development in the heart of Sydney CBD involving six levels of low-rise serviced offices, 20 levels of commercial office space and 20 levels of high-rise residential. Bonacci’s design was based on buildibility and economies in construction cost and time and involved the construction of the tower on three separate and concurrent platforms (ground floor and below, podium floor and above and ground to podium). In this way the speed of construction could be accelerated to enable the low rise tower structure and carparks to be completed and commissioned/occupied whilst the tower was being constructed above.
