Royal Women's Hospital
The Royal Women’s Hospital redevelopment is a new world class hospital
developed adjacent to the Royal Melbourne Hospital site.
This 160 bed specialist women’s and neo-natal paediatric health service has
been designed as an iconic stand alone facility with its own distinctive presence,
but able to tap into infrastructure and support services from the Royal
Melbourne Hospital.
It is innovative in its approach with 100% fresh air
conditioning to the inpatient wards using the displacement method. The design
is flexible to meet future needs with provision for future expansion designed
from the outset.

Australian Centre For Neuroscience And Mental Health Research
This prestigious project, with a cost budget of $225 million, consists of two new high profile,
interactive and contemporary buildings designed to engender interaction and enhanced
collaboration.
Six organisations are located over two sites (Parkville and Austin). A sharing of similar design
elements and themes was adopted to create the sense of a single centre throughout all
buildings and sites. In order to promote interactivity, a ‘stacking arrangement’ has been
adopted throughout the project. This stacking configuration is a large square or rectangular
planned building over four or five levels inter-connected with open stairs, light wells, and
meeting places, to optimise visual and circulation connections.
