The Groves, Plenty Valley
1,500 lot residential subdivision on a greenfield site, incorporating a wide mix of housing styles, upgrades to major perimeter roads, investigations of Water Sensitive Urban
Design opportunities and major trunk infrastructure extensions. Working with Associate professor Peter Coombes of the University of Newcastle, the impacts of the proposed
development on stormwater runoff quality and quantity were analysed using the latest computer software and methods developed at the University of Newcastle and the Cooperative
Research Centre for Catchment Hydrology. The PURRS water balance model, WUFS rainfall runoff design model and the MUSIC water quality model were used to analyse the performance
a various water sensitive urban design (WSUD) and integrated water cycle management (IWCM) scenarios. Local climate and demographic data was also used in the analysis.

| Wyndham Springs Estate, Wyndhamvale
This development is a 450 lot residential subdivision of a greenfield site with sensitive flora and fauna and aboriginal heritage issues to resolve. There is a
strong emphasis on water sensitive urban design along a natural watercourse running through the site. The first stage included design of a retarding basin to
limit outflows to pre-development levels and the use of bio-retention swales to remove sediment and nutrients from stormwater

Fyansford Quarry Redevelopment
With the imminent closure of the CSR Readymix quarry at Fyansford, Moltoni Corporation has engaged Bonacci Group’s Geelong office to provide engineering
services necessary to transform the site into an environmentally sensitive boutique development, comprising some 600 residential lots plus medium density
housing and commercial areas. The site is bounded by the new Geelong ring road (currently under construction) and the Moorabool River

| Diamond Hills Estate
110 lot residential development on a former Council tip site. Project involved liaison with environmental consultants and use of high energy compaction techniques to achieve pre-settlement of the deep refuse area.
Bonacci Group provided design of extensive road, sewer, stormwater and watermain works. Water Sensitive Urban Design solutions were provided in collaboration with the landscape architect and stormwater quality was analysed using ‘MUSIC’ software.

New Quay West Precinct
The New Quay West precinct is a residential zone with low rise town houses following the line of the harbour promenade and high rise residential towers set back from the water along Docklands Drive. A long linear central park separates the two housing
types and additional landscaping of the streets within the precinct is proposed to enhance the residential nature of the area in contrast to the more commercial zones of New Quay developed earlier.
Bonacci Group is providing infrastructure and costing advice, design and documentation of the proposed subdivision works, including roads, drains, sewer and water reticulation.
