Oxley and Sandgate Waste Water Treatment Plants Completed March 2006 |

The concept provided large economies in the design and construction of the water retaining tank structures. The structures resulted in fast construction times and low relative costs.
Bonacci Group provided structural engineering services for the upgrade works to the Oxley and Sandgate Waste Water Treatment Facilities. The project was delivered under an Alliance model, with Bonacci being engaged directly by a member of the Alliance. The scope of works included several large bio-reactors, numerous clarifiers, pump stations, inlet works, sludge processing facilities, chemical treatment stores, a blower building and process installation and numerous associated office, monitoring and secondary process buildings. The project scope has now been expanded to include the Wynnum WWTP.
