The New Horizons project is a central and vital component of a vision to develop a Clayton Innovation Precinct as the most significant technology innovation hub in the southern hemisphere.  Through collaboration, the Centre will bring together dispersed science and engineering expertise in a new, world-class research facility.

The site area for the precinct is approximately 10,000 square metres. The Gross Floor Area (GFA) of the proposed building is in the order of 22,400 square metres, with a usable floor area of approximately 15,600 sq metres.

New Horizons Centre is the first Laboratory building in Australia to be awarded a 6 Green Star Rating.
