Vertical elements have been designed utilizing high strength concrete to minimize column and wall dimensions and maximize the architectural layout.
A new four-level, high quality education development for the University of New South Wales. The building will house the School of Law and ATAX, the Kingsford legal centre and the law library.
This 'signature' development comprises 10,000 square metres of floor space, including a basement level of plant and equipment, constructed below the water table.
The structure consists of metal tray formed, one way slabs, spanning between conventionally formed partially post-tensioned band beams.
The structure has been designed and detailed to achieve a design life of one hundred years.
