Bonacci Group prepared an innovative design in precast post-tensioned concrete for the huge sail structures, standing up to 45 metres above the Golf Club building.
Our design included a detailed construction method and sequence to enable safe and rapid construction and we provided key personnel to supervise both the on-site manufacture of the precast concrete elements and also their erection. Bonacci Group has received a number of awards for this project, including the 1993 Engineering Excellence Award of the Institution of Engineers, Australia.
