The largest cinema is designed to seat 880 patrons.

This project involved the expansion of the existing Knox City Shopping Centre to the east, to enable construction of new retail zones, with new abutting multi-level carpark structures, as well as open-plan malls and retail linking a new 15 cinema complex and the existing multi-storey carpark and an at grade overflow / staff carpark.

A detailed hydraulic analysis of spillway discharges from the adjacent Blind Creek Retarding Basin through the shopping centre carpark was carried out to check requirements for safety depth and velocity of flows using HEC-RAS software.

The carpark was carefully shaped to ensure adequate freeboard to the area of extended retail space. The Bonacci Group was responsible for all civil and structural works for the new development.
