Breakfast Point is a developing, vibrant community within a landscaped environment of multistory apartments, abundant parks and neighborhood facilities.

Breakfast Point Spoil Management Plan

The site is approximately 28 hectare with some underlying soil sub strata classified as contaminated.

This project involved Bulk Earthworks Volumes analysis of the programmed six [6] stages of development covering approximately 19 hectares of the site.

Environmental controls on the site were simple “no excavated material to leave the site”.

Therefore all excavated material including earthwork volumes to basement levels of the development is to be utilised as structural fill within the site. Specific contaminated soils have spoil fill zones identified and are to be capped upon reaching design surface levels.

The extent of bulk earthworks involves approximately 132,569m3 of solid cut and 87466m3 of structural fill leaving the balance of 45,103m3 to be utilised for general fill and landscaping.
